Lost pet help in Ontario

Everyone on this page takes calls about lost and found pets in Ontario: shelters and humane societies, municipal animal services, community search and sighting groups and search and recovery specialists. Each entry was compiled from the organisation’s own pages and carries the date it was last checked.

Start with the shelter or municipal animal service closest to where your pet went missing — a found animal is usually held near where it was picked up — then call your microchip registry and post where people in your area are already looking. Hours, intake rules and holding practices are set by each organisation, so confirm them on the call rather than assuming.

If something here is out of date, or an organisation is missing, tell us and we will check it.
