Community search groups in Canada
Volunteer-run groups, most of them on Facebook, that spread lost-pet alerts to the people who actually live around you. They are free, they move fast, and in most Canadian cities the neighbour who spots your pet is already in one of them.
Post one clear photo, where and when your pet was last seen, and a phone number you will answer. Then watch the group for found posts as well as lost ones.
This list starts with groups we could confirm are active from the shelters that link them. If you run one, tell us and it goes in.
