What to do here
If you live in B.C., check that your pet's record here is current — a registry entry with an old phone number is the single most common reason a scanned chip fails to bring a pet home.
Records are searchable by B.C. shelters and veterinary clinics, and the registry is reachable through the AAHA universal lookup.

One organisation is never the whole search
A pet is found by whoever happens to be nearby, so the shelter, the city, the registry and the local search groups each hold a different piece. Work the list rather than one entry on it.
