Mississauga Animal Services

The City of Mississauga runs its own animal shelter on Central Parkway West and publishes an online database of found pets.

What to do here

Call the shelter team on extension 3 and check the found-pets database, which its own page links from the missing-pets section. The city also lists a 24-hour emergency line, 905-896-5858, for animals in distress.

Compiled from the organisation's own site 24 August 2026. Last checked 24 August 2026. Details change without notice — confirm anything you are about to rely on.

One organisation is never the whole search

A pet is found by whoever happens to be nearby, so the shelter, the city, the registry and the local search groups each hold a different piece. Work the list rather than one entry on it.
