What to do here

A paid service. Its published search package is $299 for the first two hours, then $60 an hour if you choose to continue. Check the current price when you call.

Give them your latest confirmed sighting, direction of travel and your pet’s behaviour, and do not chase: the operator says the drone is used to watch, not to push the animal. Thermal works best when the ground is cool and cannot see through roofs or dense cover. The operator states plainly that it offers a search effort, not a guaranteed recovery.

Compiled from the operator’s own Pet Detectives page, checked 8 October 2026. Submitted by the operator; no paid placement. Travel beyond Winnipeg is as described by the operator in its submission. Last checked 8 October 2026. Details change without notice — confirm anything you are about to rely on.

One organisation is never the whole search

A pet is found by whoever happens to be nearby, so the shelter, the city, the registry and the local search groups each hold a different piece. Work the list rather than one entry on it.
