What to do here

Clinics matter in a search for two reasons: a found pet is often taken straight to the nearest one, and clinics are where chips get scanned. Calling the clinics around where your pet went missing is one of the highest-value hours you can spend.

One organisation is never the whole search

A pet is found by whoever happens to be nearby, so the shelter, the city, the registry and the local search groups each hold a different piece. Work the list rather than one entry on it.
